Whatcha doin?

I built six raised planter boxes they were 8 ft long 4 ft wide 24 inches high

That's exactly what I'm wanting to build here for next year

Ya I have done a lot of work on this place in the last 1 1/2 ...ya it's nice I had a dump truck come with 10 yards of garden soil,I went in my truck 4 times just to fill the first box, I said to myself screw this, then call them up and ask them to just bring out a dump truck load ...made it so much easier.

I will post a few of this years,I only have 3 boxes done at the moment...but they are looking good...have to runout to the garden and take some...

Those look fantastic bugz!... I'm definitely putting in raised beds for next year

It seems easier to deal with and less weeds..

When you do build them inline them in plastic before you fill them in....I read up on it and it will preserve it for several years long from rotting

Ya I thought so, I used to rotor till at my other place and plant them in the ground seem like I was working on weeds more and then the boxes..

I've had huge gardens to, like now, just a few plants in containers just depending on how much room (and desire) I had at the time lol... But the raised beds seem to give you more for less work

The only thing I wished that I would have done was paint them,but oh well....I was trying to do everything at once being a new place...
but won't matter too much because I did in line each one of the boxes with dark thick black plastic

Lol I keep forgetting about the weather difference... I planted all mine about a month ago. But will look forward to seeing your finished creation MOB.
