Complete change of plans. No BLT. I skipped the tuna melt and just had tuna salad on honey wheat and a slice of cheese.

Friday is usually my pizza night but tonight I am meeting one of my daughters at Red Lobster for a daddy/daughter date.
It doesn't even matter if Red Lobster is having one of their lobster or shrimp specials going on... me and my daughter always end up getting the Admirals Feast dinner.

It is a great tradition but my other daughter never has time for it anymore... especially now that she's a new mother.

And when you go to the store Hot Legs you gotta remember... "Never go to the grocery store when you are hungry".

Perhaps she is thinking that if grilled pineapple [w/honey] is good, why not the watermelon? What a Face

Maybe consider some diced cucumber in it. It's refreshing and adds a nice crunch.

Find anything good? Sorry I don't use recipes. Part of the reason is I don't always make something the same way twice. I cook by intuition and knowledge of flavor profiles/techniques. I do have a loose "recipe" for a yummy crab/fennel salad. It's great on grilled crustini. I also have one for a blueberry salsa that I developed for a 5 star resort that I worked at.

I read recipes looking for ideas and I find it oddly relaxing.
Cooking I don't follow anything 😂
