Yesterday I laid slices of ham across my grill. After I flipped them I added brown sugar, waited a little while then laid bacon across them. When they were done I melted American cheese on them.

Sounds yummy and like a heart attack
Try adding Coke or pineapple juice to the brown sugar

I found a nice little recipe for "Lemon Herb Shrimp and Broccoli Foil Packs" this morning. Easy list of ingredients and of course it's shrimp hehe. Says you can grill the packs of bake them. Still debating which way to go. Likely baking since it's supposed to be 93'ish this weekend with heat index of 100+. YUCK. Here is the link if anyone is curious:

Sounds yummy slum... But think I'll skip grilling and just have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich later... It's hot and I've already put in 8 hours and have more to go...

I've been doing foil packs for 30 yrs. The possibilities are endless. Fish, shellfish, bivalves, tender cuts of meat, veggies. Lemon pepper seasoning or fresh lemon, fresh herbs, wines, bourbon or rum. Or if you have left over burnt ends from bbqing a brisket you chop it up add some bbq sauce, foil it and grill it. So many things.

I used to do the campfire foil packs thing back when I was in the Boy Scouts, cheap and super easy to make/cleanup. Some very tasty stuff for sure. Every so often Cracker Barrel has a similar thing. They aren't bad, not great either.
Sweet, she's getting me the shirt!

I tried Slum. But the tomato soup kept putting my coals out. Thus... the tomato right on the sammich!

My new next door neighbors saw me using my charcoal grill regularly so they bought one. A cheap one. They are so clueless how to use it.
